Your Privacy, Our Responsibility

Account Information
When you register, we collect your full name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign up via Google, we receive your name and email from Google's OAuth service — no password is stored.

Usage & Learning Data
We track quiz attempts, scores, accuracy by subject and difficulty, roadmap progress, and study session activity. This data powers your dashboard analytics and personalized recommendations.

AI Chat History
Conversations with Mira (our AI tutor) — including your messages, timestamps, and AI responses — are stored to let you revisit past sessions and improve response quality.

Community Activity
Posts, comments, discussion threads, bookmarks, and follower/following relationships you create within the community are stored as part of the platform.

Device & Technical Data
Standard server logs may include your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This is used for security monitoring and service reliability.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with unauthorized parties.

Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Authentication tokens are stored in your browser and transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard algorithms before storage.

AI chat data is processed by our backend services and stored in our database. Audio input (if applicable via mobile) is processed in real-time and not persisted.

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% immune to breaches. We will notify affected users promptly if a data incident occurs.

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate our platform, including cloud infrastructure, AI inference, and storage services. These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

If you sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google's sign-in service. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your information during that process.

We do not share your personal information with any third party for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

• Access: You can view your account data and chat history within the app at any time.
• Correction: You can update your profile information from your account settings.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Permissions: Microphone and notification access (mobile) can be revoked anytime via your device settings.
• Local data: Clearing your browser's stored data will remove your session and log you out.

MdSkool is designed for students preparing for medical entrance exams and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has registered without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our platform evolves. When we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of MdSkool after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
