Child safety standards

MdCareer standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation

Published standards for preventing, reporting and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Last updated: September 10, 2026

MdCareer is the professional medical-community product operated by the MdSkool team. We have zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM. These standards apply to every part of MdCareer, including profiles, Sparks, comments, communities, direct messages, voice messages and uploaded media. Although MdCareer is intended for adults aged 18 and over, these protections apply regardless of a person's stated age.

Prohibited content and conduct

Users must not create, upload, request, distribute, promote, store or link to content that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers a child.

  • Child sexual abuse material, including real, altered, computer-generated or AI-generated depictions
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation or attempts to move a child into sexual contact or conversation
  • Sextortion, trafficking, coercion or threats involving a child
  • Sexualized comments, imagery or role-play involving minors
  • Sharing links, instructions or access details intended to locate or distribute CSAM
  • Content that identifies, humiliates or further victimizes a child survivor

How to report a concern

MdCareer provides reporting tools inside the app. Users can report a Spark or comment from its options menu and can report an account from the relevant profile or conversation safety controls. Select the unsafe-content reason and include enough detail for the concern to be reviewed.

Users can also block an account to stop further contact. If the in-app report cannot be used, send the concern to mdskool.ops@gmail.com. Do not email or redistribute suspected CSAM; provide identifiers such as the account, Spark, comment or conversation and explain where it appears.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate law-enforcement authority first.

Review and enforcement

When we receive actual knowledge of suspected CSAE or CSAM, we review the report and take action appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law. Actions may include restricting access, removing content, preserving relevant records, suspending or terminating accounts, and preventing repeat abuse.

We prioritize credible child-safety reports and limit access to report information to people who need it for safety, security, legal or compliance work. We do not notify a reported person when doing so could increase risk, compromise an investigation or conflict with legal obligations.

CSAM response and legal compliance

MdCareer removes confirmed CSAM when we become aware of it and takes steps to prevent continued access or distribution through our services. We preserve and disclose relevant information when lawfully required.

We comply with applicable child-safety laws and report apparent CSAM or related exploitation to competent regional or national authorities, or an authorized child-protection clearinghouse, when required by applicable law. We cooperate with valid legal requests from law-enforcement and child-protection authorities.

Platform safeguards

  • MdCareer is intended for users aged 18 and over
  • Users can report posts, comments and accounts without leaving the app
  • Users can block accounts and manage their connections
  • Moderators can review reported community content and remove content that violates our standards
  • Serious abuse may result in platform-wide suspension because MdCareer and MdSkool use a shared account identity
